October 16, 2014: Random Thinking

A walk with a sister who lives over 800 miles away from me was pretty awesome! She saw a happy little squirrel without a tail. I didn’t see anything that exciting.

To watch smiles happen because smiles happened is priceless.

Love and time are the most expensive free gifts that should be given more often.

Fear was not my enemy today. No, allowing someone I paid to “beat me” was my true opponent today.

I’m beginning to wonder how many ounces of water I must drink to unchap my chapped lips. I’m starting to feel like I’m back in the Panhandle minus the wind and the sunrises/sunsets.

I don’t like seeing my husband’s worried look. He’s the strong one that never looks like he worries hardly ever.

I made breakfast. Jon’s making dinner.

The weather has been fabulous.

Some days visualization might create nightmares for one and laughter for another.

Those who took time to say a prayer for us and check on us – yeah, y’all are awesome! Thank you! We should do that for others more often.

Matthew 6:34 – Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
