December 14, 2014: Port Surgery Aftermath

I’m thinking getting a port inserted under the skin can be compared to one of the following:

A. Getting a hole drilled into the front of your shoulder
B. Being shot
C. Being stabbed

It has worn me out. I just want to sleep.

It’s uglier than I was expecting.

It’s more painful than I thought it would be.

BUT I’m going to believe all those before me and the professionals who know how this all turns out in the end that this was the best of all evils.
