February 10, 2015: A Week Off

Dear Brain,
Yes, it’s Tuesday. No, we don’t have chemo today, so please stop freaking out.
Thank you!

You want to know what happens when I get granted an extra week off from chemo?

My white blood cells go up into the normal range!!! My platelets are up!! Red blood cells…well, at least they are better than last week. I guess I’ve never really been completely “normal”, so I’m going to call it a successful lab day anyway.

And…it looks like chemo is moving to a new day next week. Probably Thursdays for the next 12 weeks.
