March 4, 2015: From Normal to Normal

From Normal to Normal

Life’s normal
Then you find it
To fear it
To wait,
Oh, the agonizing wait!

Then that moment
Words spoken
Shocked silence
Fear’s tears
To know it is better yet worse

To hear it
Then tell it
Again and again
You get stronger
Weakness can’t be allowed in

One choice
Fight it
Destroy it
Kill it
Never ever give up

Smile when it hurts
Cry, it’s ok
Pray always
Sleep it away
Know God is with you

Have faith
Have courage
Have hope
Love lots,
Like there’s no tomorrow

Speak out
Help out
Give back
Thank God
Pray for a cure for them

Oh, the agonizing wait
The waiting
The hope
The all clear
Life’s normal – Celebrate!

By Me – I’m waiting but my celebration day is coming!
