April 16, 2015: Life is too Short – Be Kind!

There’s something great about starting on the downhill side of chemo. Only 7 more to go. This is also the middle of this cycle, so only one more before I get another break. Yay for chemo vacations.

I might be losing it a little though. I wore two different kinds of tennis shoes to chemo today. Don’t ask. I don’t know. It was an embarrassing moment to say the least.

I forgot to ask for my labs. Obviously, they were good enough for chemo and came without any restrictions or warnings, so I’m calling them good.

I just got over some little bug, so I was a bit worried going in today. I guess my 12 hours of sleep last night did me good. I didn’t get to visit much with our good friend, Leo, though. Hopefully, he’ll stop back by when he comes back, and I’ll get to spend more time with him. Keep him and his family in your thoughts as he lost his brother.

Keep our shirt project in your prayers. Kristi has an important meeting tomorrow. Everything is starting to come together. It’s exciting and overwhelming all at the same time. Thanks to Melissa for helping us out too. You’re amazing, girl!

Friday is coming, and that’s random act of kindness day. I’ll be sending stuff to a little girl. I hope y’all act kindly to someone too. Life is too short – Be kind!
