April 18, 2015: Forever Changed

I’ll never be who I once was and that’s okay. It was just part of a bigger plan. Sometimes we must become broken in order to be healed from the inside out. Change is heartbreaking at times and hard to accept. Change is hard, uncomfortable and often painful, but God asked me to have faith and so I will trust all of this is just construction for a better wife, mom, Nonna, daughter, sister, friend, teacher, advocate, and leader in the future. Construction is messy, ugly, complicated, expensive, and constantly changing. In the end, it’s all beautiful and more functional.

This morning God leaves me with these words: Deuteronomy 7:9 –
“Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.”

God has a plan, and it is good!
