April 27, 2015: Freedom

The bone crushing pain is gone. The nausea has subsided. Attacking joint pain is still on its awful mission to remind me the chemo is destroying my bone marrow just as it’s killing any cancerous cells still lurking around. (That seems impossible to me at this point, by the way, but I’m not a doctor.) On bad days, I search for hope. My hope comes in knowing freedom from pain is only a few more hours away. God is still very much in control. None of this will be in vain. God has a plan, and it is good!

2 Corinthians‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭- “For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
