September 22, 2015: My Three PINK Wishes for Women

There’s a reason people go PINK in October. There’s a national campaign to raise awareness for breast cancer. Billions of dollars are raised every year for so many things having to do with breast cancer. It’s a great thing, but my PINK wishes for women isn’t part of this campaign. My family and I started a nonprofit to help women with breast cancer, but this isn’t to raise money for our project either. This is simply my three PINK wishes for women everywhere.
#1. I wish for pathology reports that come back with PINK written all over them. Pink means healthy, non-cancerous tissue!

#2. I wish for all women to get to keep all their parts that at birth was celebrated in little girl PINK! That means no hysterectomies & no mastectomies due to cancer or the risk of it and no bald heads due to chemo.

#3. I wish that PINK ribbon in October never means to you what it means to me.
